"Tuesdays with Morrie"
A drama based on the book by Mitchell Albom

Newspaper columnist Mitchell Albom recounts time spent with his 79-year-old sociology professor at Brandeis University, Morrie Schwartz, who was dying from Lou Gehrig's Disease (ALS).  Albom, a former student of Schwartz, had not corresponded with him since attending his college classes 16 years earlier.  After seeing Schwartz on Nightline, Albom called Schwartz, who remembered his former pupil despite the lapse of 16 years. Albom was prompted to travel from Michigan to Massachusetts to visit Morrie. A newspaper strike frees Albom to commute weekly, on Tuesdays, to visit with Schwartz.

Al and Willie as "Lewis and Clark" were top-billed vaudevillians for over forty years. Now they aren't even speaking. When CBS requests them for a "History of Comedy" retrospective, a grudging reunion brings the two back together, along with a flood of memories, miseries, and laughs.



Creative Spirit Production Workshop

This is a two-week workshop, conducted by Heather Fitch, for theatre lovers ages 13 and up who would like to meet and expand their interests. Regardless of expertise or experience, participants are able to expand their potential in the theatre by trying new and interesting positions. Through this workshop, participants will write, cast, direct, and produce their own 10 minute plays which will be shown for a live audience at the end of the workshop cycle. This will present the community with a unique opportunity to learn about and work in parts of the theatre such as directing, acting, technical roles, and playwriting in order to foster interests in those areas and to promote education in those fields.



"The Children's Workshop"

This is a seven week workshop for children ages 7-17. Children will learn about different aspects of small theatre, including stage direction, acting, set construction, costuming and more. The workshop will end with a full production that will involve all the children.

"WKRL"

A Christmas show original script written by David Woody and David Alcorn

A radio Christmas show with performers reading/acting Dickens "A Christmas Carol". The female and male rivalries between the players take many turns and twists throughout the performance. The sound tech is "under the influence" but the commercial singers are a welcome interruption.

"Hello Dolly"

The story of Dolly Levi's efforts to marry Horace Vandergelter, the well-known half-a-millionaire, and send his money circulating among the people like rainwater the way her late husband taught her. Along the way she also succeeds in matching up the young and the beautiful Widow Molloy with Vandergelder's head clerk, Cornelius Hackl: Cornelius' assistant, Barnaby Tucker, and Mrs. Molloy's assistant, Minnie Fay; and struggling artist, Ambrose Kemper, with Mr. Vandergelder's weeping niece, Ermengarde. What happens in the end? Solly gets her man of course. Even makes him glad she caught him!

A Romantic Comedy in three acts written by Woody Allen

A man has a thing about Humphrey Bogart but none of his technique; he is bookish and insecure with women. But Bogey comes to the rescue, played out in hilarious fantasy sequences. It's a tough life making it in the world of beautiful people but if you can't be a hero, it helps to have one.
